The star of multiple box office smashes was checking out some thrilling action on Sunday in Laguna Seca, as Tom Cruise became the latest superstar to experience MotoGP in the flesh.

The MotoGP paddock at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix has become renowned for its special guests, and the close proximity of the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to the Hollywood hills means that one never knows who might pay a visit to check out the World Championship action.
Sunday afternoon saw one of the world´s most famous actors, Tom Cruise, watching the MotoGP `Top Guns´ as they did battle on track. Cruise and actress wife Katie Holmes were given a guided tour of the garages and were introduced to the likes of Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi, before viewing the race from trackside.

Cruise´s appearance follows in the footsteps of fellow superstar Brad Pitt, a frequent attendee of MotoGP races and most recently a presence in the paddock at Mugello.

Cruise is a passionate fan of MotoGP, and owns the first of a limited edition (only 1,500 were produced) Ducati MotoGP replica Desmosedici RR. He had to settle for second place for the Italian team in the race itself, however, as Valentino Rossi pulled off a victory that was truly a case of `Mission: Impossible´.
